What we collect
When you use the calculator we record your calculator inputs (services, agency tier, geographic reach, industry, catalogue size, optional budget, goals) along with your email address and optional first name. We also automatically log technical details including IP address, user agent, referrer, and any UTM tracking parameters present in the URL.
Why we collect it
The legal basis for processing is your consent at the point of submission. Specifically:
- Calculator submission — necessary to deliver the estimate you requested.
- Marketing email consent (optional) — used to send occasional benchmarking insights.
- Partner-agency sharing consent (optional) — used to share your details with vetted partner agencies whose pricing and capabilities match the estimate you receive.
You can decline either or both consents and still receive your estimate.
Who we share it with
If you opt in to partner-agency sharing, we may share your contact details and calculator inputs with vetted digital marketing agencies in our partner network whose service offering, geographic coverage and capacity match your stated requirements. We only share with agencies whose typical pricing falls within the estimate range you receive.
We use the following data processors:
- Supabase (database hosting) — processes data on our behalf.
- Resend (transactional email) — delivers your estimate by email.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-spam) — protects the form from automated abuse.
- Plausible Analytics (privacy-first website analytics) — aggregated only, no cookies, no personal identifiers.
How long we keep it
Lead records are retained for 24 months from submission, after which they are deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time using the contact details below.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@marketingagencycosts.com.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking cookies. A small number of cookies may be set by Cloudflare Turnstile during anti-spam verification; these are strictly necessary and expire when you close your browser. The admin area uses session cookies for authentication.
